Custom Rubber Bushings

Category: Custom Rubber Parts

Hongjie Sealing Technology molds custom rubber bushings — including rubber-to-metal bonded sleeves — that sit between two mating or moving parts to isolate vibration, absorb shock, and cut mechanical noise. Send a drawing or sample and our engineers quote tooling, material, and bonded-construction options for your assembly.

Precision-Engineered for Vibration, Shock & Noise Isolation

A rubber bushing decouples metal-to-metal contact, letting the elastomer flex and absorb energy instead of the surrounding hardware. We produce these as anti vibration rubber bushings by injection molding and compression molding.

A bonded metal core (steel or aluminum vulcanized to the rubber) carries higher radial/axial load and won't walk out of its bore, but costs more to tool. A press-fit rubber sleeve is cheaper and easier to service, but relies on interference fit alone, so it suits lighter loads. We quote both and recommend one based on your load case.

Applications & Industries Served

  • Industrial machinery

Motor mounts, pump isolators, panel dampers

  • Automotive rubber bushings

Suspension bushings, mount inserts, linkage isolators

  • Appliance assemblies

    Compressor and motor vibration isolation

  • Plumbing and electrical enclosures

Sleeve isolation around pipes, rods, and fasteners

A bushing is often part of a larger assembly. For wiring through the same panel, see custom wire-harness grommets. For a flat sealing disc in the fastener stack, see custom rubber washers and sealing discs.

Materials & Sizing Capability

Bore, OD, length, and wall thickness are molded to your drawing across a 0–100mm dimensional range, with tighter or larger geometries quoted case by case.

Why OEMs Choose Hongjie

Hongjie has manufactured rubber components since 2001 from an 11,000 m² Shenzhen facility with roughly 150 staff, certified to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO13485:2016. We hold 3,500+ existing tools, work with FDA and NSF compliant compounds, and turn functional prototypes in 3–5 business days so you can validate a bushing design before production tooling.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who makes custom bushings?
Hongjie Sealing Technology, an IATF 16949 and ISO13485 certified OEM manufacturer operating since 2001, molds custom rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded bushings from CAD drawings through production.
What's better, rubber or polyurethane bushings?
Rubber (NBR, EPDM, neoprene) is generally lower-cost and damps vibration well across a wide temperature range. Polyurethane (AU/EU) resists abrasion and handles higher load better but is stiffer and costs more — the right choice depends on load and deflection needs.
How much is a rubber bushing?
Cost depends on size, material, bonded-metal construction, and tooling requirements, so there's no fixed per-unit price without a drawing. Submit your specs for an OEM quote.
