Neoprene Rubber Parts

Category: Custom Rubber Parts

Hongjie manufactures custom Neoprene (CR/polychloroprene) rubber parts for OEM applications requiring flame resistance, sulfur-free compounds or strong rubber-to-metal bonding. Since 2001, our 11,000 m² Shenzhen facility has molded and extruded CR components for automotive, appliance and industrial buyers in more than 45 countries.

Neoprene Material Specifications

Polychloroprene resists ozone and weathering well, bonds to metal more readily than most elastomers, and self-extinguishes rather than sustaining flame — but oil and fuel resistance is only moderate, where NBR and FKM perform better. Compare against EPDM rubber parts for weather-only applications or NBR rubber parts where fuel resistance matters more than flame safety.

Neoprene Rubber Parts We Manufacture

Molded, extruded and bonded CR components for sealing, pass-through protection, vibration isolation and OEM assemblies.

  • Neoprene grommets

Panel pass-through grommets that protect cables and help isolate vibration in equipment housings.

  • Neoprene gaskets

Flange and housing gaskets produced for static sealing, weather exposure and moderate chemical contact.

  • Neoprene seals

Static and dynamic sealing profiles for doors, panels, housings and moving assemblies.

  • Neoprene extruded profiles

Continuous CR strips and channel profiles cut to length for weatherstripping and enclosure sealing.

  • Neoprene rubber-to-metal bonded parts

Bonded mounts and structural components that combine CR flexibility with the strength and stability of metal inserts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between rubber and neoprene?
Neoprene (CR) is one specific synthetic rubber; "rubber" is the broader category that also includes NBR, EPDM, and silicone, each performing differently by temperature and chemical exposure.
What are the disadvantages of neoprene rubber?
Oil and fuel resistance is only moderate versus NBR or FKM, and some grades stiffen in cold storage before returning to normal flexibility once warmed.
What's the MOQ and lead time for custom neoprene parts?
MOQ and tooling lead time depend on part geometry — there's no fixed minimum. Send your drawing and we'll confirm both alongside prototype cost.
